Connected University Centers

The program envisages an open policy of cooperation with academics from other universities based on individual merit and entrepreneurship. The network’s initial size and composition aims at providing a solid and manageable institutional support to the development of the research activities, but it is not meant to restrict participation and cooperation to the original partners.

Resources for Academic Mobility

The European Union has established three programs aimed at promoting academic mobility and scholarly cooperation between Latin America and Europe. It is worth having a look:

• ALFA focuses on the promotion of co-operation in higher education between both regions.

• @LIS aims to promote the benefits of using information technologies and tries to bridge the gap of the digital divide. 

• Alßan aims at the reinforcement of the European Union - Latin America co-operation in the area of Higher Education and covers studies for postgraduates as well as higher training for Latin America professionals/future decision-makers, in institutions or centers in the European Union.
