  Main Description
An aspect of the developed product-typically software or hardware-which has been identified as a target of the testing
effort. A target test item might be scoped at the level of an operation, interface, feature, component, implementation subsystem, or system; or it
may be an external aspect of the system, such as an operating system or peripheral device (eg printer). Synonyms: target-of-test, test item. |
