Biography

Pedro Nogueira Ramos was born in 1965 in Lisbon, Portugal.  He is  Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at  ISCTE - Lisbon.  Presently he lectures severall master and degree courses, most of all in the filed of information system analysis and implementation.  He is in charge of the Master Courses of Information System Management the Department of Computer Science at ISCTE. He received the degree in Management, the MSc. in Information Systems and the PhD in Artificial Intelligence from ISCTE  in 1988, 1992 and 1999 respectively. He develops research activities on, Artificial Emotional Agents, Theory of Diagnosis, Deontic Logic applied to Organisational Process Design and Information Systems Onthologies. He is also a researcher at UNIDE (Artificial Intelligence research line) and ADETTI (We, the Body and the Mind research line).
