UML2O3F
is freeware open source software that converts UML class and objects diagrams
into O3F ontologies. O3F ontologies can then be stored on the O3_server
database or in local text files in the CO3L language. Before being converted,
UML diagrams must first be saved as XMI documents, which can easily be done
by the used UML development tool (e.g., Bouml).
UML2O3F
can also extract ontologies stored on the O3_server database. To use UML2O3F, you just have to download its last
version and run the jar file enclosed within its distribution. Unfortunately, XMI documents generated by different
UML development tools may also be different. Hence, UML2O3F is not guaranteed to handle
UML diagrams developed using any existing UML tool. Currently, it can process
XMI files generated by Bouml. |
